Resilient Communities Video Conversation Series

  Tape 1.  Inviting Leadership: Finding Our Role in Resilient Communities features futurist Robert Theobald and Margaret Wheatley, president of the Berkana Institute, in a discussion of what type of leadership is needed in communities as we approach the millennium and how communities can find and develop this leadership locally.  This program was used by more than 100 communities in North America in January, 1999 and continues to be used as resource for stimulated dialogue in small and large groups around the continent.

  Tape 2. Common Sense, Common Ground:  Preparing for Y2K brings together people who are making waves in their local communities and internatinally by promoting preparedness and sustainable practices in the face of Y2K.   Guests include Robert Theobald, Cynthia Beal and Rick Ingrasci.  This satellite video conversation aired on April 8th and was used by more than 100 communities in North America.

  Tape 3.  Making Meaning:  A Challenge for the New Century features Vicki Robin, Rachel Bagby and Robert Theobald.  This program explores the need to make and iscover deeper meaning in our lives-in both individual and community contexts.  Special guests look to the global condition and share ideas and methods for building resilience into the fabric of our respective communities.  "Making Meaning" aims to provide inspiration by tapping into existing personal, family and community ties.  This program aired May 27 and is a useful resource for stimulating dialogue in small and large groups.
